Q. How long have you been doing Rock n Roll and what does the club mean to you ?
A. I've been doing Rock and Roll for 6 years. I looked in a local newspaper at Lismore and saw an advert saying 'Jimmy Ray was coming to teach Rock and Roll at Lismore' and as I had always wanted to dance I thought "Lets Start". 'What does the Club mean to me ?` As a doctor in the community I feel a great sense of pride in the club and it's an extension of the work I do in the surgery , about setting an example of being fit and healthy and giving back to your community. It gives me great joy to see people extending their boundaries. John and I get a great buzz to think what started as an acorn has grown into such an important thing.

Q. If you could improve the club what would be your suggestions ?
A. I'd have a regular venue that belongs to us , just like the Summerland Rockers have in NSW I really feel quite happy with the club the way it is at the moment , it is very harmonious.

A. My goal is to dance as close as I can to the world Boogie Woogie Champions . A Special achievement was running and finishing my first Marathon. Professionally one of the biggest experiences in my life was being in an emergency Helicopter after we had done a patient transport to Brisbane and we hit a storm , I thought I was going to die and there wasn't a thing I could do about it . When the chopper landed the Pilot smugly said " Were you worried Doctor ? " , I said yes I was terrified and he said " Well we weren't we had a Doctor on board " .

10. Q. Which two public figures , past or present do you most admire and what is your philosophy on life ?
A. There are three , Nelson Mandala , Michael Leunig and my Father . My philosophy on life is that "Your Mother was right , the key to a happy life is to be nice, get a hobby or interest you feel passionate about and commit yourself to some volunteer work ".

Thank you .. Heather.
