NORM LYONS

Q. What is your favourite Rock and Roll song ?
A. La Bamba by Richie Valens.

Q. Have you any interests apart from Rock and Roll dancing ?

A. Yes.  I play Badminton and I am also a private
Pilot. I enjoy Touring and Travelling.

Q. Have you some goal, Special achievement or Experience you may like to share with us ?
A. My goal is a World Tour after the year 2000. My special acheivement was getting a pilots License. An experience I thought funny happened one night when as a casual Ambulance Officer I was responding to a call, so got dressed and went to the station to pick up the Ambulance which wouldn't start, the symptoms seemed to be a flat battery so I decided to jump start from the other vehicle.  Finally after having no
success I discovered that in my panic the gear lever was not engaged in Park or Neutral !!!.
( Why do I keep imagining Benny Hill - Jan )

Q. Which two Public figures, past or present do you most admire and what is yur philosophy on life ?
A. Weary Dunlop and John Lennon.  My philosophy on life is , no matter what happens keep marching on.

Thank you President Norm.
